Caffe Velo Verde is a place with a difference.

When you combine a passion for cycling and excellent coffee with a passion for cooking and entertaining, the result is Caffe Velo Verde. A vibrant and cool spot that has the atmosphere and community of a sports social club with the welcome of a good local boozer. Enjoyed by many a cyclist, jogger, rower or other sportsperson, Caffe Velo Verde is also a vital part of the local community. Customers feel equally at home whether they arrive on their own or with a group, in lycra or in rest day attire. With the majority of customers sharing a common interest there’s always someone around to chat to and someone new to meet.

Our Coffee

We take painstaking care over the coffee we serve, and as a result each cup is outstanding (even if we say so ourselves). Our single origin beans mean you get coffee in its purest form, and we guarantee you will notice the difference.

Our Food

Cobs, baps, breadcakes or rolls, whatever you like to call them we don’t mind, we are happy to fill them with sausage, bacon or both for you to enjoy. And if you have a penchant for clean eating we also have a number of menu options especially for you.

Facilities

CASH

Please note that we DO accept cash if you can provide the correct amount. Chip and PIN or contactless are preferred. Please speak to us about alternative methods if you are unable to do this.

SEATING

We have a large outdoor seating area, part of which is covered. If you are bringing a group of 8 or more we advise that you book with us in advance to ensure you can get a table, particularly at our busiest times or during inclement weather.

DOGS

At Caffe Velo Verde, we are BIG fans of dogs. Your furry friends are welcome in all outdoor areas, but please do keep them on leads. Wandering dogs can be cumbersome for our servers. Assistance dogs can of course be brought inside.
