Caffe Velo Verde is a place with a difference.

When you combine a passion for cycling and excellent coffee with a passion for cooking and entertaining, the result is Caffe Velo Verde. A vibrant and cool spot that has the atmosphere and community of a sports social club with the welcome of a good local boozer. Enjoyed by many a cyclist, jogger, rower or other sportsperson, Caffe Velo Verde is also a vital part of the local community. Customers feel equally at home whether they arrive on their own or with a group, in lycra or in rest day attire. With the majority of customers sharing a common interest there’s always someone around to chat to and someone new to meet.

Facilities

CASH

Please note that we currently do not accept cash. Chip and PIN or contactless are preferred. Please speak to us about alternative methods if you are unable to do this.

SEATING

We have a large outdoor seating area, part of which is covered. If you are bringing a group of 8 or more we advise that you book with us in advance to ensure you can get a table, particularly at our busiest times or during inclement weather.

DOGS

At Caffe Velo Verde, we are BIG fans of dogs. Your furry friends are welcome in all outdoor areas, but please do keep them on leads. Wandering dogs can be cumbersome for our servers. Assistance dogs can of course be brought inside.

Yep. Interesting place. Brilliant for bike riders and everyone else come to that. Really good spacious facilities. Loved the cycling priority so thanks for that guys. Great food and drink, friendly, attractive ... what's not to like huh?!

🥓 Bacon perfection 🥓This place is seriously underselling itself. For example, the simple description of porridge on the menu doesn't do justice to what arrives, which is basically a perfectly beautiful bowl of nutrition and taste. I've worked my way through most of the menu here and everything is done perfectly. Every time. From the coffee to the American-style crispy bacon to the avo on sourdough and the upcycled decor. It's always a wholesome, refreshing treat. Also, the service is quick and fuss-free. Bonus!

Well priced 7miles from home, everything you need when cycling.Bacon sausages eggs cake tea and coffee.Plenty of seating for around 100 including outside, outside under cover and inside areas,Geared for cycling crowd bike racks for about 40Toilets avaliable

This was my first visit on a hot Sunday lunch. First impressions were of a well organised, friendly business. they have excellent systems in place for logging your visit and to enable you to order directly from your table.Really enjoyed my coffee and cake which was excellent value.Looking forward to a return visit soon.
